Venture into an ever-changing basement of monsters and peril in dungeon crawling auto battler adventure Bad House

The house is yours on one condition: stay. out. of. the. basement.

PARIS (September 8th, 2026) – Solo developer Andrew Morrish (Kingsway) and publisher The Arcade Crew (Drop Duchy, Abyssus) today announced Bad House, a genre-blending, auto battling adventure launching on PC next year. The previous tenant of your brand-new house left a few things behind, which are yours to claim. Just… don’t go into the basement.

You’re going to go in, aren’t you? Well… underneath the seemingly ordinary house your journey begins in an ever-changing, dungeon-like basement filled with deadly monsters determined to stop your descent. Choose your character, set your skills and venture down. Combat takes place automatically, with the skills you’ve set working in tandem alongside the items you’ve strategically hidden around the room – including bombs, spells, traps and summons – to mow down all that stand in your way. Just know, it’s rare that those who descend into the basement find their way back out.

DO NOT LET THE HOUSE EAT YOU

As you progress through floor after floor you’ll level up, with the option to upgrade your skills and unlock powerful new ones as your run progresses. Push deeper into the basement for greater, more powerful rewards, or extract before it’s too late – safely banking your loot on the main floor of the house. Every expedition is a gamble. Management is not responsible for any items abandoned in the basement.

Just how far down does this basement go? Why is it constantly changing, and what secrets are hiding below? All that and more will be revealed when Bad House launches next year.

THE HOUSE IS MADE OF BLOOD AND BONES

We hope you’ll feel right at home in in your new safe space*. For more information on Bad House, follow The Arcade Crew on X and visit https://www.thearcadecrew.com/

*Please note the basement is not considered part of the safe space.
