Berlin/Seoul, November 10th, 2021 – The World Finals, the last stage of the global esports tournament “Summoners War World Arena Championship 2021” will be held online and livestreamed on November 13th at 6am CET in 15 languages through the Summoners War Esports YouTube channel, Twitch, Afreeca TV and other various channels. Eight world finalists who advanced to the World Finals through regional preliminaries and regional cups held from July to October will be playing against each other in a best of five tournament to determine the one world champion.
First, Korean player JACK-, who advanced to the World Finals with 3rd place in the Asia-Pacific Cup, will compete against Americas Cup 1st place BIGV in the first match. SECONDBABY, a Korean player who came second in the Asia-Pacific Cup, will play against PINKROID, the first place in the Europe Cup, for the in the second match. DILIGENT, 1st place in the Asia-Pacific Cup, and MADREAMDY, 2nd in the Americas Cup, will face off in the third match. Finally, The fourth match will be played by TARS, the winner of the China Qualification Match and ISMOO, second place in the Europe Cup. As all matches will be played online, the cheering will be conducted in a different way than before.
About 100 fans, pre-selected from all around the world, will cheer for the players online and be displayed through a large LED screen installed on the stage. Plus, various attractions and special events will be prepared for fans who watch the livestream. Prior to the full-scale quarterfinals tournament on this day, famous SWC players who unfortunately failed to advance to this year’s World Finals, such as THOMPSIN, TRUEWHALE, MR.CHUNG, KROM’Z, VILLIPYTTY and ROSITH will be playing in the event match to play a 2vs2 Team Battle, which is the new content that were added to the game via a recent update. In addition, various items will be given as gifts according to the cumulative number of livestream viewers of the World Finals. Users who watch the livestream will also be able to claim a SWC2021 Special Costume to decorate Ellia’s appearance in the game.
