    The SWC2021 EU Cup takes place on October 23rd

     

    Berlin/Seoul, October 21st, 2021 – Following the Americas Cup and the APAC Cup, it’s now time for the final regional cup of the SWC2021, the EU Cup. Scheduled to be live-streamed on Twitch and YouTube on October 23rd at 2PM CEST, 8 of this year’s best players from the EU go head-to-head in hopes of winning one of the top 2 spots to participate in the World Final of this global esports tournament.

    The 8 European participants include Rosith, Viilypytty, Pinkroid, Ismoo, Livert, Obabo, Sheiishizo and Chene. Through this final European phase, the best 2 players of the EU Cup will join the 6 finalists who have already qualified for the World Final scheduled to take place on November 13th, which consist of 2 players from America and 4 from Asia. Last year’s winner, Viilypytty will try to defend his title to become the first recurring EU champion. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the top 4 players: 10.000 euros for the winner; 5.000 euros for second place; and 2.500 euros for 3rd and 4th place.

    All games this year will be held digitally for the safety of the players and the audience. All matches are live-streamed via Summoners War eSports YouTube channel and Twitch with professional commentary in various languages.
