    “Games Made in Europe”: applicant deadline extended to April 4th, 2023

    – Digital event will be held from May 25th to May 28th to showcase European video game talent that will include 4 days of livestreams, Steam promotions, conferences, masterclasses and more! –

    Paris, France – March 29th, 2023 – There is less than a week to apply to the Games Made in Europe showcase! The deadline for developers and publishers to register for the event has been extended to April 4th. Over 40 selected games will be featured during the 4-day digital event, organised by Capital Games and hosted by some of the most influential streamers throughout Europe. Games Made in Europe will take place from May 25th at 17:00 to May 28th until 23:55 CEST and will include livestreams, Steam sales, conferences, masterclasses and more!

    More than a hundred studios have already applied across Europe but we want to give the chance to more developers to join and participate, including smaller studios from all European territories such as the eastern European, Baltic, and Nordic regions,” explains Cyrille Imbert, the president of Capital Games.

    The highlighted games will be selected by a panel of experts before being streamed live on Twitch for the duration of the event. Applicants can register a project for Games Made in Europe by filling out this form and finding more information through the official website. The deadline for participants to register is April 4th at 23.59 CEST. 

    Games Made in Europe: showcasing talents akin to Eurovision and happening for the very first time.
    The video games equivalent of Eurovision aimed at showcasing European talent will be filmed in Paris, but broadcasted on Twitch for the whole world to see. Over 100 games have already been submitted, carefully considered by a jury composed of industry experts coming from acclaimed companies such as Focus Entertainment,  CD Projekt, Thunderful, Stray Fawn Studio, and Raw Fury.

    The program will include presentations of the best European-made games over four days of Twitch livestreams, hosted by influential streamers in the sector. Featured games will benefit from promotions on Steam, and the event will encompass a program of conferences, masterclasses, training, and professional networking.

    Games Made in Europe is organized by Capital Games in collaboration with SuperCrowd, Meet2Match and Cosmocover.  This event has been made possible thanks to the support of the European Union’s Creative Europe MEDIA program and the support of regional groups including EGDF, game in Germany, IIDEA in Italy, Indie Game Poland Foundation in Poland, RGDA in Romania, DGA in the Netherlands, LZKA in Lithuania, CGDA in Croatia, SGDA in Slovakia, WALGA and FLEGA in Belgium.
