World 1-1 Documentary World Premiere Release on Steam Store Tuesday 5/19

Devolver Digital Films has that announced another of its independent feature movies, World 1-1, releases worldwide on the Steam Store on Tuesday May 19th at 9 a.m. PST. The documentary, produced by Daryl Rodriguez and Jeanette Garcia, chronicles the emergence of global video game industry, from the personalities of the earliest Atari pioneers to the lucky deals and unfortunate mistakes that almost destroyed the entire industry as quickly as it began. World 1-1 will launch on the Steam Store at a sale price of $5.39 for one week, offering 33% off its regular price of $7.99 (£5.59, 7,99€). The 131-minute documentary is among the first movie titles to be released on the global gaming platform, which now boasts than 125 million active users worldwide.

Sneller vooruitgang boeken in Tribal Wars 2 dankzij tweede dorp

InnoGames breidt hun online strategie game Tribal Wars 2 vandaag uit met een nieuwe feature, die de snelheid aan het begin van het spel stevig de hoogte instuwt. Door bepaalde opdrachten binnen de vijf dagen te vervullen kunnen spelers vanaf nu sneller de controle over een tweede dorp krijgen. Aan de manier waarop nadien extra dorpen worden veroverd, verandert niets. Dankzij de update is het voor spelers een stuk makkelijker om sneller door te stoten tot de kern van het spel.

InnoGames laat zich in april op bijna 100 tv-kanalen zien

InnoGames lanceert vandaag een wereldwijde tv-campagne voor hun strategische toptitels Tribal Wars 2 en Forge of Empires. De Duitse uitgever pakt het groots aan, want beide titels worden voorzien van nagelnieuwe tv-spotswaarin zowel een rol is weggelegd voor 3D CGI als voor echte acteurs acteurs. De nieuwe meesterwerkjes zullen in april alleen al zo’n 25.000 keer te zien zijn op bijna 100 verschillende televisiestations.
