InnoGames Wins “Success in Diversity”Award

As one of six German companies, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs rewarded Hamburg-based online games developer InnoGames with the “Success in Diversity” award today. The prize is given to companies with an exemplary strategy for recruiting international employees and have a good welcome culture. Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Iris Gleicke personally handed over the reward to InnoGames’ co-founder and COO Michael Zillmer in Berlin.

Devolver Digital has added two astounding new games to its 2016 lineup of incredible indies, as just announced on stage at the Sony PlayStation E3 press conference. First up is the ruthless co-op face-smasher Mother Russia Bleeds from the dangerous folks at developer Le Cartel, as well as the gorgeous Norse-based action RPG EITR from the duo of centaurs at developer Eneme Entertainment. THE WANG STRIKES BACK IN SHADOW WARRIOR 2 FROM FLYING WILD HOG AND DEVOLVER DIGITAL

Independent developer Flying Wild Hog (Shadow Warrior, Hard Reset) and rogue game publisher Devolver Digital (The Talos Principle, Hotline Miami) have announced Shadow Warrior 2, a striking follow-up to the global best-selling first-person shooter Shadow Warrior for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Shadow Warrior 2 marks the triumphant return of Lo Wang and his trademark use of blades, bullets, and a sharp tongue to strike down the demonic hordes – but this time he’s not going at it alone. Forge of Empires bereikt kaap van 100 miljoen euro

Met gepaste trots kondigt de Duitse ontwikkelaar InnoGames aan dat hun online strategiespel Forge of Empires tot op de dag van vandaag 100 miljoen euro heeft opgebracht. Dit terwijl de ontwikkelkosten voor het spel, dat werd gelanceerd in 2012, slechts een schamele 1 miljoen euro bedroegen. Vanaf het prille begin zorgde de gestage groei van de community voor een toename in maandelijkse omzet.Ondertussen hebben meer dan 25 miljoen spelers geprobeerd om hun prehistorische dorpje door de turbulente geschiedenis van de mensheid te loodsen. Handel of oorlog – in Elvenar is de keuze aan jou

Vandaag lost InnoGames extra informatie over de gevarieerde speelstijlen in hun sprookjes achtige strategie spel Elvenar. Nadat spelers de knoop hebben doorgehakt of ze een mensen- of elfenstad uit de grond willen stampen, krijgen ze nog een moeilijke keuze voorgeschoteld. Er zijn twee heel erg verschillende, doch even interessante manieren om het gigantische, met NPC’s gevulde rijk van Elvenar te ontdekken. World 1-1 Documentary World Premiere Release on Steam Store Tuesday 5/19

Devolver Digital Films has that announced another of its independent feature movies, World 1-1, releases worldwide on the Steam Store on Tuesday May 19th at 9 a.m. PST. The documentary, produced by Daryl Rodriguez and Jeanette Garcia, chronicles the emergence of global video game industry, from the personalities of the earliest Atari pioneers to the lucky deals and unfortunate mistakes that almost destroyed the entire industry as quickly as it began. World 1-1 will launch on the Steam Store at a sale price of $5.39 for one week, offering 33% off its regular price of $7.99 (£5.59, 7,99€). The 131-minute documentary is among the first movie titles to be released on the global gaming platform, which now boasts than 125 million active users worldwide.
