After two weeks of incentives and mini-games, InnoGames concludes Grepolis’ 5 year anniversary in all-out war. Fueled with vengeful hatred, Artemisia the queen of Halicarnassus has spread her troops like wildfire for the Persian Conquest Event starting today.

In the wake of its dynamic growth, InnoGames announces it will open a new development studio on January 1. A team of industry veterans is already establishing the new studio in Düsseldorf, Germany which is planned to employ up to 50 people. The office in Hamburg will remain the companies’ headquarters. Better than expected turnover is one of the reasons for this expansion: revenue, foremost in the mobile sector, increased significantly in 2014. Especially after the very successful launch of the Forge of Empires iPad-App, with 1,5 million downloads in the first three months, added to that. It will probably not stop at this point since the iPhone-version for Forge of Empires was made available last week.

Online game developer and publisher InnoGames announces the release of Thracian Conquest, a new event for its Strategic cross-platform game Grepolis. Players will be able to participate in the Thracian war and summon Hercules to lead their army in Thrace. The Event starts today and will run over the course of four weeks.

Today InnoGames announced the cross-platform strategy-MMO Rising Generals. The PvP-heavy online game is modern warfare centric, giving players access to numerous tanks, armored vehicles and dozens of deadly planes and other aircraft. Targeted at fast-paced, action-fueled sessions, the game will be playable on iOS- and Android-phones and tablets as well as on browsers. In Tribal Wars 2, players find themselves as leader of a small village in the midst of a medieval world. Tasked with growing and expanding their empire within a war-torn landscape, they have to fight in order to survive.Aside from the raw number of soldiers, successive waves of exactly timed attacks are crucial to victory – but players have to keep an eye on their troops’ discipline. A new video explains how the attacks work, and displays exclusive new footage from the game’s browser-, iOS- and Android-versions. The PvP-heavy game encourages its players to attack their neighbors and conquer their villages, upon which the defeated has to restart in the game world at another location with a new, basic settlement.

InnoGames just announced it would create 100 new job positions upon its upcoming relocation. Tomorrow, the online game developer and publisher will move to a new headquarters closer to thecentre of Hamburg.Following the move, InnoGames plans to use the additional office space for hiring 100 new colleagues. Until the end of the year, a total of 400 people are supposed to be developing and publishing games for the German Studio.

With Guild vs. Guild, InnoGames’ just released a massive new long time PvP feature for its successful strategic browser game Forge of Empires. From now on, the game’s guilds may participate in a large-scale battle for control and power on one persistent continent. Participating guilds need to gain and keep control of sectors by means of battle and trade and will gain rewards like recruitment or research boosts according to their success. InnoGames’ online role-playing game The West launched a Valentine’s Day event today, leading players on a hunt for hearts! With those hearts, players can unlock up to ten rewards with increasing heart requirements. The first special item to unlock is a traveling fair, with which the players can win unique item sets. Hearts can be earned via regular jobs or in duels with other players until March 2nd.As appropriate for a day of love event, players will also be rewarded for cooperative behavior. Hearts can be sent to other players via a friends bar, which will be part of a special quest line. Furthermore, all hearts collected on one world will be accumulated. The more successful the community is here, the more valuable the rewards given to them will be. Those community rewards can be items given to every single player on that world, and include things like a new questline.
