Band of Fellows – Elvenar Adds Guild System

Today, InnoGames released a new feature in its strategic city-building game Elvenar: Fellowships. Players can now band together with up to 25 companions and engage in activities that all members profit from, such as trading and enhancing production by visiting each other’s cities. Being in a fellowship also allows access to the ingame chat-function which grants seamless communication between members.

InnoGames Publishes Tribal Wars as Canvas App on Facebook

German online games publisher InnoGames just launched its classic strategy game Tribal Wars additionally as a canvas app on Facebook. Dedicated hobby generals can now prove their tactical skills via the social network, too. As Tribal Wars has a high focus on team play, interaction and communication amongst the tribe members of the game, InnoGames sees a high overlap to Facebook. Players who join tribal Wars via Facebook will play on the same servers as the ones who are playing in the browser or with mobile apps. At the same time, the canvas app does not mean any changes to existing players: They can still play the game without using aFacebook account.

InnoGames Unleashes PvP on iOS: Tribal Wars 2 Launches New App

Today, online games developer InnoGames launched the iOS version of its cross-platform strategy game Tribal Wars 2. Players can download the app for free on the Apple App Store and it supports all iOS devices from the iPhone 4S on. Tribal Wars 2 is fully cross-platform, which allows users to seamlessly switch between Android, browser and now the iOS-App and never lose progress. InnoGames Kicks Off the Season with New Summer Events

With vacation season heating up, InnoGames’ rejuvenates the long days with summer events for their hit strategy games Forge of Empires and Grepolis. Starting today, players can complete quests in Forge of Empires to receive brand new content and buildings. From June 18 on Grepolis starts its very own “Commander of Rome”. InnoGames Wins “Success in Diversity”Award

As one of six German companies, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs rewarded Hamburg-based online games developer InnoGames with the “Success in Diversity” award today. The prize is given to companies with an exemplary strategy for recruiting international employees and have a good welcome culture. Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Iris Gleicke personally handed over the reward to InnoGames’ co-founder and COO Michael Zillmer in Berlin.

InnoGames Opens Additional Development Studio in Dusseldorf

Today, online games publisher InnoGames officially opened itsnew development studio in Dusseldorf, Germany. Currently 20 people are working there to develop a mobile game based on Unity, which is supposed to go live in 2016. The team might grow up to 50 employees during the midterm. With this additional studio, InnoGames aims to have an additional advantage in the war for talents within the games industry.

The Dawn of Tomorrow: Forge of Empires Introduces New Era

The German developer InnoGames, has just introduced a new period to its strategic online game Forge of Empires: The Tomorrow Era. The new age will be available on all language versions, from April 21 on and is already playable on the international server. The addition introduces a brand new storyline that spans 13 provinces and is set in a dark cyber-punk world.
