Berlin/Seoul – April 4th, 2024 – After closing a highly contested league phase on March 27th, 8 players have finally made it through to the play-offs of the Summoners War European League 2024. Here’s all the information you need to know to be ready for the rest of the competition on April 5th-6th!
Off to the play-offs!
There’s no room for error – it’s play-off time! The 8 best players of the league phase will battle it out to become the best player in Europe: Obabo, Pinkroid~, PaffiX, Raxxaz~, Glorious, Titogoflette, GutsTheBERZERK and SamBSepp. Unfortunately, adri’, failed to reach the play-offs along with Angel~, Hanzelot and NicerSmicer.
Of course, the league phase standings are important. Thanks to its first place, Obabo has already qualified for the third round of the play-offs, while GutsTheBERZERK will have to play for the place in round 1 against Titogoflette.
The format for these play-offs is changing. Gone are the Bo2s, replaced by Bo5s (best-of 5s) for the first two rounds! From the third round through to the grand final, the Summoners will face off on Bo7s. All in all, the suspense will be at its height throughout the event. The matches take place on April 5th for the first two rounds and on April 6th for the end of the competition!
