Daedalic Entertainment to publish next project by Mimimi Productions

Daedalic Entertainment is going to publish the next project of Munich-based independent developer Mimimi Productions, both companies announced today.

The project will be a realtime tactical stealth game and is scheduled to be published in 2016 for Xbox One™, PlayStation®4, PC, Mac and Linux.

„Mimimi is without a doubt one of Germany’s best up-and-coming studios. The team can already look back onto successful multiplatform and international releases. This very impressing experience earned them awards such as the “Best Game in Show”-award at Casual Connect. We recognize the same enthusiasm, passion and commitment, that also drives Daedalic Entertainment forward.
Concept and quality of their new project completely convinced us and will be an important addition to our catalogue, broadening the Core Gaming genre.” says Carsten Fichtelmann, Founder and CEO of Daedalic Entertainment. “The acknowledgement of such a hardworking studio and such a promising project are even more important to us, as these days, German publishers’ willingness to invest in new concepts, seems to be close to zero. We deliberately count on teams, that fit our own way of thinking and working.” Carsten Fichtelmann continues.

„We are very proud to have found the optimal publishing partner with Daedalic Entertainment for our new dream project. This way a longstanding relationship results in a great cooperation. Daedalic knows from own experience, what is important to indie-developers, how and where they can support us and how the markets work. For a core game, which is completely different from our earlier releases, this is especially important to us. We can trust them blindly to reflect our own enthusiasm and excitement for this game.” Mimimi CEO Johannes Roth explains the cooperation.

Mimimi and Daedalic will soon announce the title and more details on the game. Daedalic Entertainment will publish the game in several retail markets, as well as digitally worldwide.
