Berlin, June 26th – Today Crunchyroll, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment Germany, announced the release date for Detective Conan The Movie: The Million-dollar Pentagram.
The new installment in the saga will be released in Germany and Austria on August 27th, 2024.
As with previous chapters, in German-speaking countries the film will be available in the original Japanese language with German subtitles as well as with German dubbing.
Detective Conan The Movie: The Million-dollar Pentagram is the latest movie about Conan Edogawa, a 17-year-old master detective in the body of a child who solves all kinds of murder cases in secret. In the latest installment, he teams up with his detective friend Heiji Hattori to take on his old rival, the master thief Kaitô Kid.
Hakodate on the northern main island of Hokkaido. Kaitô Kid’s calling card is found in the Onoe group’s warehouse. At the same time, a corpse with a slashed cross on its chest is discovered in the warehouse district of Hakodate. The trail leads to the “Dealer of Death”, an American with Japanese roots who operates throughout Asia as an arms dealer. It’s time for an epic treasure hunt!
The first 30 minutes of Detective Conan The Movie: The Million-dollar Pentagram will premiere exclusively at German anime convention AnimagiC on August 3rd.
