    – Heroes in a Half Shell’s Return to Classic Beat-em-up Gameplay, Nostalgic ‘80s Era Design –

PARIS, March 11th 2021 – Faith No More’s Mike Patton rocked out to a radical cover of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song today for the reveal of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, a new video game inspired by the series’ classic arcade beat-em-up action. Hear the rock icon’s signature vocals in the game’s announcement trailer:

A lifelong fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and video games, Patton’s intoxicating energy meshes perfectly with the trailer’s rambunctious display of turtle power. “Working on TMNT was pure pleasure,” Patton said. “I channeled my inner ninja spirit to deliver a track worthy of my half-shell brothers! it was an honor to serve them…and finally I made some music my nieces can enjoy!”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge reunites Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello to kick shell in a beautifully realized pixel art world invoking the turtles’ classic 1987 design. Armed with shell-shocking new abilities, the gang are in for an exhilarating, Foot Clan-stomping romp leading them through a breathless tour of iconic TMNT locations and the bustling boroughs of New York City.

The project joins two retro gaming experts in partnership with Nickelodeon: Dotemu, the developer and publisher known for faithful ports as well as impeccable remakes and continuations of beloved gaming series including Streets of Rage 4, the smash hit nominated for Best Action game at The Game Awards 2020, as well as the upcoming Windjammers 2 and highly lauded Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap; and Tribute Games, the studio behind retro-themed original IPs including Panzer Paladin, Flinthook and Mercenary Kings which embody the spirit of classic games in new experiences.
