Leading up to Easter, InnoGames announces a whole series of new events in its games. From today on, Elvenar players can look forward to collecting mysterious Phoenix eggs. Additionally, Forge of Empires starts a new spring questline on March 28 followed by the events in The West and Grepolis, starting on April 3 and 13.

The countdown to spring is on and InnoGames TV brings the season into full bloom with the release of its March episode. Starting today, the approximately seven-minute-long video features images from Forge of Empires’ new age and the latest updates for Elvenar and Grepolis.

Wooga and InnoGames are pleased to announce the sale and transfer of mobile strategy title Warlords from Wooga to the Hamburg-based online games provider, InnoGames. Going forward, a team at InnoGames will continue development and enrich the game with their strong knowledge of the strategy genre. No employees will change company as part of the agreement.

InnoGames, one of the leading providers of online and mobile games, released its financial figures for 2016 today. The company increased its revenue by 25 percent to a new record high of 130 million euros. In the mobile section, InnoGames topped last year’s revenue results by 68 percent and more than half of all new registrations in 2016 came from mobile devices. InnoGames also published a new corporate video today, highlighting the company’s on going success story.

Funda Yakin joins online game publisher InnoGames as Director Media & Market Development with immediate effect. The 36-year-old previously worked at the Microsoft Corporation in Germany and the USA. As Head of Consumer and Commercial Marketing she was accountable for Microsoft´s products Windows and Lumia. In her new position at InnoGames Yakin is responsible for the strategic development of TV marketing and the expansion of direct media partner cooperation. Today InnoGames released a new building in it’s cross-platform strategy hit Forge of Empires. The new friends tavern allows players to visit and support each other. The more friends join the new building at the same time, the more tavern silver is collectable for the host. Last weekend, serial jam host InnoGames celebrated the 10th edition of the InnoGames Game Jam, with over 150 participants from seven nations. Participants used the 48-hour sleep over to develop 25 unique, playable games on various platforms. As a nod to the clock change that took place over the weekend, the theme for this anniversary edition was “Cheating Time”. All developed games can be played on https://igjam.eu now.

Today a new guest race arrived in InnoGames’ fantasy city builder Elvenar. From chapter nine on, the Woodelves will bring peace back to nature after the arrival of the Orcs and Goblins. The company also released a new video that shows an overview by Game Designer Timon and graphic artist Rike.

MTG has entered into an agreement to acquire 35% of InnoGames, a leading global online games developer and publisher, from Eight Roads Ventures and the Company’s founders. The transaction is based on an Enterprise Value of EUR 260m for 100% of the company. MTG has an option to acquire a further 16% of the company at the same valuation. The transaction is subject to German and Austrian merger approvals. MTG will report its share of InnoGames’ earnings as associated company income, which will be included in its MTGx segment.

Halloween-loving players can breathe a sigh of relief today with the release of the October Episode of InnoGames TV. The xx-minute video showsexclusive images from Elvenar’s upcoming guest race and the upcoming Halloween event in Forge of Empires. In addition, the episode highlights Grepolis’ Grepolympia Event and a new building in the classic MMO strategy game, Tribal Wars.

Today InnoGames unveiled a new building for its classic strategy MMO, Tribal Wars. The “Watchtower” will give players information about upcoming attacks, up to a given range, which will let them better prepare for them. From now the new building will be implemented in all new starting game worlds. Product Manager Thomas explains the feature in a video.

InnoGames TV starts the Autumn season early with the release of the September episode. Starting today, the approximately 14 minute-long video shows images from the new Forge of Empires Fall Event and innovations to Elvenar’s combat system.
