Look Outside, the critically acclaimed survival horror RPG from developer Francis Coulombe and publisher Devolver Digital, is about to get a whole lot more disturbing. The meaty new 1.5 update, available today for everyone who owns the game, adds even more eldritch horrors to the game’s deeply cursed apartment building, including:
- A greatly expanded flooded basement area, bursting with fresh new terrors to fight and/or have terrifying conversations with
- Additional residents that will come-a-knockin’ when you’re ‘safely’ back at home, including a few new twists on familiar encounters
- An expanded and improved crafting system, with new materials to collect and the ability to craft powerful healing items to help you survive the night
The 1.5 update also includes a number of gameplay balance tweaks, new and expanded dialogue for certain encounters, new decisions to make, a whole heap of bug fixes, and even more dark secrets to discover in those shadowy hallways.
