Ironwood Studios to partner with Kepler Interactive to publish driving-survival adventure Pacific Drive, releases new video look at the game’s surreally dangerous world

London – June 10th, 2023 – Seattle-based developer, Ironwood Studios are excited to announce their partnership with Kepler Interactive to publish their highly-anticipated debut, Pacific Drive. Set to release later this year, the studio also debuted a new behind-the-scenes look at the making of their driving survival adventure during the Future Games Show earlier today.

In the latest video, Ironwood Studio Head and Pacific Drive Creative Director, Alexander Dracott, discusses how a life-long passion for road tripping around the Pacific Northwest planted the seed for the game. Join Alex and other members of the Ironwood team as they detail their creative process for making Pacific Drive’s unique first-person, run-based driving survival gameplay.

Speaking about their partnership with Kepler Interactive, Dracott said: “We’re incredibly excited to share that we’ve partnered with Kepler Interactive to release Pacific Drive. Their unique approach to how they work with developers is a great fit for Ironwood Studios and we’re looking forward to sharing more together soon.”

Pacific Drive is a run-based driving survival adventure where players will face supernatural dangers on each expedition out into the Olympic Exclusion Zone. With your car as your only companion, you’ll navigate a surreal and anomaly-filled reimagining of the Pacific Northwest, making your base of operations in an abandoned garage to research new parts to upgrade and maintain your station wagon. As you chart routes deeper into the Zone, you’ll gather precious resources and investigate what’s been left behind to learn exactly what it takes to survive in this unpredictable, hostile environment.

Pacific Drive makes its way to PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) in 2023. To wishlist and find out more, visit: https://www.pacificdrivegame.com/
