London, England – October 29, 2026 – Football Manager 27‘s groundbreaking free Launch Preview is officially underway, giving aspiring managers the chance to make the big calls at no additional cost on PC and Mac until 7pm CET on November 3.
Starting now and running for the next five days, the FM27 Launch Preview will be freely playable across Steam, Epic, the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass* – a move believed to be an industry first for an annual title.
There’s no additional sign-up required – you can simply download from your preferred platform and begin converting your beliefs into dugout decisions with all game modes available.
That means players can get hands-on with the complete FM27 experience across all game modes, including the brand-new multiplayer experience Shuffle Draft, are available now* across Steam, Epic, the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass** and PC Game Pass.
Designed to give players a proper taste of life in the dugout ahead of launch, the FM27 Launch Preview is intended to be a version that is closer in quality and finality to launch than previous games early play builds***. Careers started during the free-play period are fully compatible with the paid Launch Preview period and full release, meaning every decision made and every journey started can continue beyond November 10.

FM27 is also now available to pre-purchase, with SEGA-approved retailers offering 10% off and continued Launch Preview access between November 3 till November 10. Those managing on Game Pass will be able to continue their journeys through their subscriptions.
