BOTSU is a ridiculous collection of physics-based robot battlesports, but don’t take our word for it: solo developer Oscar Salandin, a.k.a. Peculiar Pixels, is here to spill additional beans about his wild and wonderful online multiplayer game.
In this fresh video, jam-packed with chaotic BOTSU action, well-spoken Oscar runs us through some of the game’s many bonkers game modes, including SUMO, BOXBALL, and STOCKPILE.
He also shines a spotlight on the game’s distraction-stuffed social hub, a space where you can hang out with your friends between matches, indulging in all manner of floppy-limbed physics nonsense.
Whether you’re playing online or locally via split-screen, BOTSU is a virtual sports game like no other, with customisable robots that you can make your own thanks to an abundance of unlockable costumes.
And check this out: a brand new BOTSU demo is available on Steam RIGHT NOW, letting you create your own absurd custom matches to play with friends old and new. We’ll see you in the SUMO ring.
