Last year, developer Francis Coulombe and publisher Devolver Digital’s acclaimed survival horror RPG Look Outside launched on PC and invited players into a seriously warped apartment complex filled with unspeakable cosmic horrors. Now this unique horror experience – which critics have described as “one of the scariest games I’ve ever played”, “disturbing, grotesque, and uncomfortably wonderful”, and “an unforgettable journey into the unknown” – is available on consoles.
Rated Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam, Look Outside is a horror RPG set in a single apartment building. Explore to seek food, supplies, and weapons while encountering strange NPCs and fighting monsters that were once your neighbors.
Return to your apartment with gathered resources and partial answers to your questions to recuperate by playing games, making dinner, crafting tools, and getting to know what few allies you’re able to find and get on your side in this cursed place.
Look Outside is available now on PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch 1/2 priced €9.99. But whatever you do, don’t look outside.
