Third and final CBT starts today for Riders of Icarus

The third and final closed beta test for Riders of Icarus begins today and runs through Tuesday, June 7. The global NDA for all territories will also be lifted beginning today. Following this test, Riders of Icarus will be offline until the Head Start begins on June 29, with open beta following on July 6.

LAWBREAKERS FIRST PUBLIC ALPHA SCHEDULED FOR JUNE

In advance of showing more of the game at E3 this month, Boss Key Productions today announced that gamers will be able to participate in LawBreakers’ closed public alpha tests beginning in mid-June. Specific dates and more information about the alpha roadmap will be revealed by Cliff Bleszinski at PC Gamer’s “PC Gaming Show”, which will be streamed live on Twitch Monday, June 13 at 7:30pm CET.

InnoGames hosts Game Jam in the midst of Gamescom

Today InnoGames announced to host the first ever large-scale game jam at Gamescom in Cologne: The InnoGames Jam, a 48-hour long event in the Congress Center. During the game jam, up to 300 participants from all over the world will team up and develop 75 entirely new games – from the very first idea to a playable product. The game jam starts on Wednesday, August 17 at 2pm and will end on Friday, August 19. In the afternoon that day, a jury will officially announce the winners. From now on until June 30, interested developers, game designers or artists can apply for the free submission process to become one of up to 300 participants. Those chosen to participate will receive a personal invitation via Eventbrite, where a game jam ticket can be booked. All information about the event and the sign up process can be found at www.igjam.eu. The Jam welcomes participants from all over the world and is centered on the idea of bringing more diversity to the games industry.
