InnoGames, Germany's leading developer and publisher of mobile and online games, releases its financial figures for 2017 today. After ten years of consecutive growth, the company increased its revenue once again by 24 percent in 2017. The new record-breaking revenue of 161.5 million EUR was primarily fuelled by mobile with an increase of 62 percent over the previous year. InnoGames’ browser games strongly contributed to its success with revenues of 107 million EUR (an 11 percent increase). The company’s strategy proved effective: with an EBITDA margin of 25 percent, InnoGames was also able to increase overall profitability.

InnoGames offers players an enthralling mix of in-game events in February. The romantic Valentine's Day event in Elvenar starts on February 14th, Forge of Empires celebrates the Venetian Carnival from February 22nd until February 26th and the players in Grepolis bravely defend the cities of Greece together with Spartan assassins.

Germany's leading game developer is repositioning its communication approach. In 2018, InnoGames will increasingly aim for corporate stories and promote employer branding. There are also personnel changes: Jan Kronenberger and Dennis Schoubye joined the InnoGames PR team in November and December, respectively.

More than 80,000 spectators in the stadium and nearly one billion people worldwide in front of their television sets: The American football championship game on February 4th is a sporting spectacle that electrifies fans far beyond the borders of the USA. With the "Forge Bowl" in-game event in the online strategy game Forge of Empires, game developer InnoGames used the media mega American football event to achieve new sales records.
