Today InnoGames launched the Closed Beta to its strategy-MMO Tribal Wars 2. The successor to strategy hit Tribal Wars will start with a moderate number of players to first ensure server stability – over the course of the next days, the game will gradually allow for more participants. In order to join the beta as one of the first, pre-registered players should check for a mail containing their beta key. InnoGames is also handing out keys via various social media pages. Those keys can then be activated by logging in or registering on beta.tribalwars2.com. The Closed Beta will start with the browser version of the game, iOS and Android will follow with the Open Beta launch. The Tribal Wars 2 team also published a new video, calling all players to arms.

Today InnoGames launched the Hephaestus Forge summer event for its ancient-Greek strategy game Grepolis. The legendary blacksmith of the Greek gods is offering some valuable treasure chests but he will only give them away in exchange for divine orbs. Those orbs can be found by the Grepolis population when players perform regular tasks like city building, research or recruitment. The more active the players are, the higher their chance to find some orbs. However the number of orbs that can found on any given day is limited to ten.

Today InnoGames the closed beta start of its strategy MMO Tribal Wars 2. On June 10, the English-speaking beta server will be opened to the first players. Everyone who signed up for a beta key, on www.tribalwars2.com, no matter how long ago, might be among the first to playtest the new game.

Today InnoGames launched the Forge of Empires Soccer Cup. In the event, which will run for the next four and a half weeks, players have the chance to shoot penalties and compete with their neighbors, in order to receive bonuses or new, exclusive buildings. InnoGames just released the long-awaited iPad version of its award-winning online game Forge of Empires. From now on, Forge of Empires is available for download on the App store – players can login on the iPad with their browser account, switch back and forth between devices or create an entirely new account on the tablet. The user interface has been optimized for touchscreen and supports multitouch-gestures. Additionally, the game’s reworked graphics fully utilize the iPads high-resolution retina-tablets. InnoGames has released a new video with the launch, introducing the iPad app and announcing an iPad fan contest via Forge of Empire’s Facebook page.

InnoGames’ classic strategy game Tribal Wars just launched a new event. This year, the player’s task is to rescue various members of the royal family from the clutches of numerous nasty creatures. If they succeed, they unlock powerful rewards and several production boosts. Product manager Robert and community manager Thomas introduce the event in a new video.
