Tribal Wars 2 Speeds Up with New Balancing Update

    – InnoGames’ medieval strategy game reworks balancing to create a smoother experience –

InnoGames’ strategy game Tribal Wars 2 just released a new balancing update which adjusts building and recruiting times. The improvement speeds up the first phase of the game and brings new quests, rewards and goals to achieve. The online-games developer has also released a video highlighting the changes.

The update redesigns The Barracks and the Headquarters to allow a faster progression in the beginning of the game. The design changes simplify the use of the building itself with additional technologies (coming soon), allowing unit creation at an accelerated pace. More units mean more military decisions and fun. To top it all off, the team modified the quest system to engage the player in more stylized and attractive quests, with a focus on resource generation through attacks and the Resource Deposit feature.

In Tribal Wars 2, players find themselves as the leader of a small village in the midst of a medieval world. Tasked with growing and expanding their empire within a war-torn landscape, they have to fight in order to survive. The MMO’s focus is real-time, strategic battles with and against other players.

With about 150 million registered players, InnoGames is one of the world’s leading developers and providers of online games. Currently, the Hamburg-based company employs over 350 professionals from 30 nations. InnoGames has scored major success with games such as Tribal Wars, Grepolis and Forge of Empires.
