Gambitious Opens its Investor Portal to  New Game Investors

    – Indie Publisher’s Uniqueand Successful Crowd Financing Model
Now Open to 50 New Investors –

Transport Fever, the Sequel to the First Successfully Equity Crowd Financed Game and Fan-Favorite Simulation Game Train Fever, Coming to PC this Fall

Now more game investors can get in on the action. Gambitious, the first global videogame publisher to create its own crowd finance platform for individual investors,is offering its proven model to new game investors via its investor portal. With a mission to create and foster a sustainable ecosystem for independent game creation and publishing, Gambitious has expanded its portal and is now accepting 50 new accredited investors.

We are excited to introduce Gambitious and its great indie titles to a new group of investors,” said Gambitious CEO and Co-Founder Paul Hanraets.  “At Gambitious, we lead project financing and raise money from our growing investor network via our funding portal, offering investors the opportunity to invest right alongside us the publisher, at the same terms, ensuring that everyone involved has a fair and positive experience. Monies are paid out over milestones throughout development, just like any publisher or VC would do.”

Gambitious utilizes its set of creative crowd financing tools and techniques to get more great game titles funded, produced, and successfully released.  In its first year of publishing, four of its first six titles returned a profit for its investor network within the first month of sales.

On the heels of this announcement, the company’s publishing label, Gambitious Digital Entertainment, announced that it has signed Urban GamesTransport Fever, the highly anticipated sequel to Gambitious’ first successfully equity crowd financed title, Train Fever. For Gambitious, Train Fever was a huge financial success and the proof-of-concept that its model for crowd financing not only worked, but also delivered on its promise for all involved.  Transport Fever is coming to PC this fall.

Founded by veterans from the independent publishing business, Gambitious has been operating out of Amsterdam and Austin, TX since 2012, and has been producing and publishing the games it finances since late 2014.

“Gambitious is committed to respecting the investors who are taking a chance on an indie project, which we feel is what is missing from crowdfunding thus far,” said Gambitious Co-founder, Mike Wilson.  “Our investors get repaid out of first monies, before the publisher or the developer, and each project is treated as its own business case, thoroughly researched as to true costs to reach the market and managed through its lifecycle by publishing professionals to ensure the best outcome for all involved.”

Gambitious is currently only accepting accredited investors from the US and qualified investors from the EU, while continuing to explore options to accept non-accredited investors from the US as the JOBS Act Title III regulatory guidelines become clearer.  People interested in learning more can reach out via Gambitious.com for more information.
